“Built From Nothing” is a cinematic song about building a city from your mind.

It represents the entrepreneurial mindset behind Almost Alive - creating from scratch, pushing through resistance, and turning ideas into something tangible. The song blends modern rock energy with cinematic scale, but underneath the production is a simple theme: start where you are and build anyway.

Musically, the song leans into modern rock drive but stretches beyond it. The progressive elements - shifting dynamics, layered textures, and evolving sections - mirror the process of building itself. Growth isn’t linear. It expands, contracts, and pushes forward again.
