I’m excited to share that “Orbiting My Own Life” is now available everywhere music is streamed.

The idea behind the song started with a feeling I’ve run into more than once - going through the motions, staying busy, and moving forward, but somehow ending up in the same place mentally. You tell yourself you’re making progress, but certain habits, routines, or thoughts keep pulling you back into the same orbit.

That became the central theme of the song.

Musically, it combines driving guitars, powerful drums, and one of my favorite choruses on Undercurrent. I wanted it to feel like constant motion while the lyrics wrestle with the challenge of breaking out of familiar patterns.

Like many of the songs on Undercurrent, it’s about the things happening beneath the surface that shape our direction, whether we realize it or not.
